2027 United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP)
The 65th annual United States Senate Youth Program Washington Week will be held in Washington, D.C., March 6 – 13, 2027. Two student leaders from each state, the District of Columbia, and overseas military-connected high schools will spend a week in Washington, DC, experiencing their national government in action and learning about the many pathways possible for a career in public service. Students must be actively serving in high-level elected or appointed leadership positions to qualify. All transportation, hotel and meal expenses will be covered. In addition, each delegate will receive a $12,500 college scholarship for undergraduate studies, with encouragement to pursue coursework in history and political science.

Note: Nomination forms must be submitted by a school administrator or school staff of the student's attending school. Nomination forms will be available on Monday, August 24, 2026. The deadline for submission is Friday, October 9, 2026, no later than 1:00 p.m.
